President Sandy Holcombe welcomed everyone, particularly asking to recognize any newly retired or returning members. Invocation prayer was led by Sandy, followed by lunch served by members of the church.
Business Meeting:
There was no official conducting of business for today’s meeting. Sandy did introduce the officers for next year, and explained some of their duties.

Secretary’s Report: Minutes from October were not read today—be sure to look on our website for minutes, updates, etc. A Thank-You note from the Licking County Baby Pantry was read, thanking us for recent donations.
Treasurer’s Report though not read, were reported by Treasurer Sharon Koppert.

Community Services:
Chairperson David Greene announced that he will continue to collect our members’ Volunteer Hours, and urges everyone to try to keep a general log of hours served.

Membership:
Mary asked those in attendance to please be thinking of ideas to increase membership and luncheon attendance, which is currently down. We need to promote membership particularly with new and close-to-retiring teachers. Anyone interested in helping with this is encouraged to join a committee with Mary.

In Memorium:
Karen Wolford conducted our “in Memorium” ceremony to honor those members who have passed away this year, by reading of a poem and announcing names and a moment of silence for all.

Social Committee:
Janet announced that our next luncheon meeting will be Wednesday, February 12th, 2014, at noon, at Stacy’s Buffet in Heath. Jeff Gill will be presenting a program—“A Look at Lincoln”.

Announcements: Sandy also mentioned how important our donations to the Licking County Baby Pantry are to the many families served through out the year.
Program:
We were entertained with holiday music by Music Teacher Ann Robinson and her students from Carson Elementary School.
